Kony chosen by world’s top independent power producer & energy services provider ENGIE

Kony Inc., has been selected by ENGIE to participate in its innovative Digital Factory. The leading enterprise mobility company will accelerate the delivery of mobile applications for ENGIE customers, partners and employees – in France and globally – as part of the company’s new three-year Transformation Plan.

ENGIE (known as GDF SUEZ prior to April 2015) is a French multinational energy utility company, headquartered in La Défense, Courbevoie, France. ENGIE employs around 155,000 people worldwide and operates in 70 countries. Impressed by Kony’s ability to quickly design, build and deploy secure, enterprise-grade mobile apps across multiple devices and operating systems, ENGIE chose Kony’s Mobility Platform and solutions for its enterprise-wide Digital Transformation initiative. As part of ENGIE’s new Digital Factory, Kony will help the Group build several consumer-facing and employee productivity mobile apps.

Gartner & Forrester rate Kony as ‘leader’

Kony was recently named a “Leader” for the fourth consecutive year, and positioned furthest for Completeness of Vision Overall and Advancement for Ability to Execute in the Leaders Quadrant, in the Gartner 2016 Magic Quadrant for Mobile Application Development Platforms (MADP) report.

In addition, Kony was named a “Leader” and earned the highest score in the current offering category in Mobile Infrastructure Services by independent research firm Forrester Research, Inc., according to The Forrester Wave™: Mobile Infrastructure Services report.
